In this hybrid presentation and conversation, Readocracy’s founder Mario Vasilescu presents new ways of seeing the information crisis so we can finally solve it. His work and research identifies Attention Monsters, and how they completely exploit the lack of regulation or consequences to tear our world apart for their own profit.

A live-taping improvisation between the brass duo and designer Niklaus Troxler. Using his signature medium – colored tape – to draw parallels between the freedom of music and the freeform of design, the performance takes place in midst of some of the best jazz festival posters he has designed over his extensive career.

In this first session, Gabriel 宗賀 (Sōga) Căciulă reviews the origins of this complex ritual of tea and introduces the very basics of the amazing etiquette that controls this tradition.

What if all your food could talk? What would it have to say to you? Would you feel sorry for your lettuce? Would you try to comfort your apple? Who are you anyways, in relation to the things you eat? Let’s go and find out how food speaks back to you and listen to what food has to say. Perhaps you find out you have been eating the wrong way your whole life.

An urban strategist, a mindfulness trainer, and a cucumber expert turned agrifood entrepreneur get their perspectives together to rethink urban life.

Gabriel 宗賀 (Sōga) Căciulă’s second session dabbles into the tea ritual’s sea of apparent contradictions, and the discovery of their meaning through the ‘open eyes’ that require a lifetime stepping on the Way of Tea.

This dance workshop is open to all ages and requires zero dancing experience. Mixing contemporary dance with breaking as well as martial arts, the two dancers from Kaori Ito dance company invite you to loosen up what you think dance is and get a hang of street dance basics, ahead of Saturday’s dance battle.

A walking-date experience inviting you to take 2,000 steps alongside a (yet) unknown person from Bulandra Theater to Sala Radio while searching for butterflies in your stomach or in your way.

Did your UNFINISHED Love Story have anything to do with desire? If so, it might be the one performed on tonight’s stage! And if not, you can volunteer to join Modern Love editor of The New York Times on stage for a quick experiment to fall in love with anyone.

Consciousness is one of the greatest remaining mysteries in science and philosophy. The neuroscientist explores a view of consciousness in which all experiences are varieties of brain-based prediction, and in which consciousness is intimately tied to our nature as living machines.

Musical happening by the last generation of lăutari, internationally acclaimed as one of the best gipsy bands in the world. Led by the violinist virtuoso Caliu, they carry with them authentic traditional music from Southern Romania for an evening of reliving (or rewriting) history through music.

One more evening, two more love stories (or maybe more). And more of you can get a chance to join The New York Times Modern Love editor on stage for a new experiment on falling in love with anyone, answering some of Daniel Jones’ “36 Questions That Lead to Love”.

The “poor circus” is a Chilean expression referring to a situation in which you might need to fill the shoes of a presenter, tamer, and trapeze artist all at once in order to finish the show. It perfectly embodies the multidisciplinarity of Nicoletta Favari and Christopher Salvito who create their own instruments from materials as varied as felt and wool to oscillating coils buzzing in the electromagnetic field.
